Gary Kreigh

Gary’s books keep the reader close to the edge as his plots twist and turn like a whirlwind.

Perhaps an abundance of colors, costumes, and living with intriguing individuals in New Orleans account for Gary’s elaborate mystery plots. Or it could be his 35 plus years as a forensic fraud examiner, writing about corporate and social issues that affect ordinary people in extraordinary situations. Whatever, it’s enough to hold tightly onto your favorite beverage as you nestle into the inscrutable lives of his characters.

About Gary

Gary Lee Edward Kreigh is one of Alkira Publishing’s exciting voices in the literary field. His sensitivity to modern issues illuminates his work.

His Callan Morrow Series is contemporary, set primarily in the Midwest. One of his books, Silence the Past, won the American Fiction Award and was a Finalist of the prestigious Eric Hoffer Award for authors of free thought and unique approach to their writing.

His Reverend Fountain Series are lighter mysteries set in New Orleans in the mid-1950s. The Reverend is cunning, but very fallible, which appeals to many of Gary’s readers.

Born in Anderson, Indiana, Gary graduated with an accounting degree from Ball State University. He also studied at the University of Indianapolis for Computer Technology and Gonzaga University for Organizational Development.

Currently in remission for Stage IV bladder cancer, Gary devotes much of his time toward encouraging others with cancer. His own podcast, Mytality!, is about persevering through adversity. He juggles his time and residence between Gulf Shores, Alabama, and New Orleans.
